A New Baby!

So hubby’s Uncle and his Wife have just expanded their family with the birth of a baby daughter! I have made this card for them to say congratulations. Nice and simple.

honey

I have used the Happy Day set, stamping the doily image in the background in Pink Pirouette ink onto Pink Pirouette cardstock to give a very subtle pattern. Then I stamped the “Hello There” sentiment in Smoky Slate over the top. I used Smoky Slate again to stamp the “little one” circle from the stamp set A Fitting Occasion onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock, and stamped the elephant from the same set in the centre in Pistachio Pudding. I punched the element out with the 1″ Circle punch and stuck it to the base card with a Stampin Dimensionals.

I hope they like it! Welcome to the world, baby girl 🙂

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
