A Very Sick Little Boy

Apologies for being MIA for the last two days. I had a very sick little boy who needed his Mummy. I took him to the Doctor yesterday morning, and have finally been released from hospital today at 11ish. That’s a loooong time!

The short version is that he had what they think is a viral infection which hit him hard and his body was working overtime to fix him. The hospital visit and overnight stay were more precautionary than anything else, really, due to his medical history and the fact that his blood sugar levels were not behaving quite how they wanted them to. But he seems to be fine now, just exhausted from all the prodding and poking and the less-than-restful sleep that we get in hospital overnight! When my baby boy gets sick he doesn’t do it by halves!

That was a 24 hour period that I don’t want to repeat in a hurry. On the plus side, both twins had their Consultant check up this morning and got lots and lots of gold stars for their “performance”! There are no areas where the docs and physios are not happy with their progress and it is strongly looking like they will only need one more appointment like this, in 6 months time. Yay!

Anyway, I am now back with a nice project idea for you, so check out the next post for that!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
