Birthday Wishes sneak peek

Hello! Today I have a new sneak peek of one of the upcoming stamp sets in the new catalogue. This image is taken from a pdf of some sneak peek projects. I have a number of these new items on their way to me (and they ought to be arriving today!!) so I hope to be able to reproduce a lot of them and get some good pictures to share with you. Apologies if these come out a little fuzzy:

Here’s the full image, which also includes for the supplies list:

This stamp set is called “Build a Birthday” and includes stripes (not unlike washi tape strips but without the torn edges) which can be used horizontally as seen here, to build a lovely layered birthday cake, or vertically with the flame also included in the set to make lovely candles. There are also sentiments and the cake stand components as seen in this example card. If you look closely in the supplies list, you might peek a few more clues as to some more upcoming new products included in the new catalogue.

Apologies for the late posting of this sneak peek today, I started it off this morning and then things went a little haywire so I had to hold off while I dealt with that! Since I started writing this post, my box of goodies has arrived at home, so I will be getting those out to play with as soon as I can. Tonight hubby and I are off to the theatre for my Christmas present, so there won’t be any crafty time tonight, but maybe if I focus tomorrow night and get our stuff ready for our weekend away I will get to do some crafting either tomorrow or Thursday. I will definitely get to craft a bit on Saturday (unless they have changed the set up of the day!) as I am at the Stampin’ Up! regional event in Telford. So that will be fab! And before I get there I need to make a name badge for myself, as well as a birthday card to send to my Grandad who will be 85 on Saturday, and a card for a work colleague on Friday – I have a plan for that one which will take minimal time for maximum impact!

Phew, best get on with it, eh?! Have a great evening.

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
