Butterfly Thank You

This card is a very simple yet elegant design. I received it as a swap at a recent Stampin’ Up! event, and I really like it.

It makes use of the new Elegant Butterfly punch, which is much more intricate and detailed than the old Butterfly punch. This card also uses the new Gold cardstock, which adds a touch of luxury to the design. The modern label punch has been used for the sentiment and as a frame, in the same way as I used the Decorative Label Punch for the card in my recent Cheers! post.

I believe that the base card is made from Real Red cardstock, with the butterflies and sentiment being Basic Black cardstock and ink respectively. Add the panel of gold cardstock and three Basic Pearls, and you have a lovely card that you would be proud to give someone to say thank you for something that they have done, or a present they have given you. You could of course change the sentiment and use the design for any other occasion instead.

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
