December Weekly Deals and December Dailies

Morning! Here are the first set of Weekly Deals for December:

weekly deals 3-9 Dec

There are some great items there for both Christmas presents for crafters (the texture boutique) and for making your Christmas cards (the embossing folders particularly). The swatchbook MDS download is great for both capturing your Christmas and making presents for people or for yourself documenting Christmasses past and present. You could even speculate about what Christmas future might hold… And don’t forget that MDS has a free 30 day trial on the website, and even the complete package is only £13.95 to buy complete! There is so much you can do with this software, I definitely recommend that you at least go for the free trial, if not the whole lot! You can purchase lots and lots of stamp sets, cutting tools, designer series papers, etc. for the system, including sets that are physically retired but are still available in digital format – yay!

Another thing which the elements of the swatchbook would be great for is your December Dailies album. Are you doing one this year? I am using the Hello December line from Stampin’ Up!, as I have mentioned before, and have put together a base album in the Cherry Cobbler 6×8″ album using the 6×8″ pocket page protector variety packs and a couple of the envelope pages to contain all my “accoutrements”! I am loving how easy it is to do. Although it is only December 3rd, I am up to date with my album already, even though we are having a manic week this week! I have spent approximately 10 minutes each evening writing my journalling documenting what we have done each day, and it is sorted. I still need to add the photographs, obviously, but that is just a case of sitting down with the computer when I have a little more time (like at the weekend) and spending a few minutes choosing and cropping the pictures I want to use. That ought to be pretty quick, too. If this sounds like something you can do, and would like to do, then it is not too late to order your kit, which contains pretty much all you need to get ‘er done! I will be sure to share photos of my completed pages.

We went to a Carol service last night with the Beaver Scouts, and so I have a lovely photo (or two!) of the twins all dressed up in their Christmas outfits with a halo (Smudge) and reindeer antlers (Smidge), so that *has* to go in the album!

Have a great day, and I hope the weekly deals have something you like – if so, get it ordered soon and don’t miss out on those discounts! I have another busy evening tonight, and again tomorrow, but I anticipate keeping up with my December Dailies album and documenting the excitement of this month. I love Christmas!

See you tomorrow.

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
