Here’s page 3 of the Project Life layouts I did with some of our wedding photos. This one focusses on some of the details of the day. The close-up shots were taken by Alex, a good friend of ours with an eye for detail.
In fact, only the table plan is an “official” photo!
As we had a small wedding, we had a single table for the wedding breakfast, and had everyone sat together round a big oval. It worked really well!
This page literally came together in seconds, because I didn’t feel it needed any journalling as the Project Life card said exactly what I needed to say! As far as this layout is concerned, it really is all in the details. In my memory box from our wedding, I expect I have some of the table confetti we used, so I could add a few sprinkles of those to the Project Life cards if I get a chance, but even if I don’t do that, the page is finished and looks complete. Which is a pleasing concept 🙂
I love the ombre monochrome hearts card, it is so cute! I have these cards in digital format as well as “hard copy”, so I expect I will print that one out at least a few more times, as it is so versatile. Using the My Digital Studio (MDS) software, it is possible to change the colours of these cards, too, so it can be any colour you like to fit in with your photographs and colour-scheme. You could colour them to match your flowers, dress, bridesmaids, or whatever you like!
I made some birthday cards and Christmas cards last night, so I will be sharing those with you soon, I promise! The birthday ones are bright and colourful, and the Christmas ones are all icy blues and whites. I am very pleased with them!
For your delectation, here are pages 2 and 3 from my wedding layouts, both together in my album:
