DSP feature panels shine

These DSP (Designer Series Papers) feature panels shine on these clean and simple cards from the Autumn/ Winter catalogue from Stampin’ Up!

DSP_cards_AW_catty_15

These cards can be made using any DSP designs you like, whether old or new, retired or current, left plain or coloured and “gone to town”! They have been deliberately kept small to fit into the gorgeous little square pillow box made with one of the (many) new sets of framelits and thinlits in the Autumn/ Winter catalogue, and cordinate with the little square envelopes which are available in the Annual catalogue.

This image is actually one of the catalogue images provided to Demonstrators by Stampin’ Up! HQ, so if it looks familiar, that would be why. The final image (at least in the UK catalogue) is slightly different to this one, but I like this one which really showcases the little cards. The image is to show how the stamp set “A Little Something” can be used, both with and without the Square Pillow Box thinlits dies, and I think it shows that this is a pretty versatile little set. But the DSP-covered cards can be used with any sentiment set, especially the ones designed on a smaller scale. The papers used here are from the Season of Cheer DSP pack which look lovely. I’d also love to use the DSP colour family stacks nd the Cherry on Top DSP to create little cards like these with various sentiments. Maybe these are a good way of making thank you cards from the twins for people coming to their birthday party… Ooh, I love it when a good idea strikes! They’d also be good for the “teachers” at nursery.

I am working on the girls at work, as I mentioned yesterday, and trying to get them to have a go at stamping, and creating their own cards, so these would be a good make-and-take style project for them! Everyone can cut, right? And a pack of DSP will go a very long way – you could make hundreds of little cards with a single pack of DSP! Can you say Value For Money? And what about using some of the Speciality DSPs with foiling and shine and vellums and the like? Wowzers!

I hope that you like today’s project share and product focus on DSP, and I will be back with something else tomorrow. If you want to order any of the DSP packs mentioned, or the Square Pillow Box thinlits, or anything else, including the new weekly deals which are available today, then please do get in touch. About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
