Happy? I’m not very happy this morning – it is pouring with rain! So here’s some happy mail for you to try to brighten your day:
This first one literally is “happy” mail – as it says happy on it! These cards were made with the Larger Than Life Alphabet & Numbers stamp set, overlapping the letters slightly. Sara made these cards, but I love the concept and really ought to make a few for my “stash”!
The next one is a smile card:
And finally, a great way to say thanks:
Once you have a few inks in your crafty collection, this happy mail is really easy to make. All you need is the one stamp set, and you can make pretty much any greeting! I believe that these were also made using the notecards and envelopes, so there’s not even any cutting or a trimmer required to make them. How easy is that? Let me know what you think of Sara’s cards, and if it’s something you’d contemplate making yourself.
I’m thinking that maybe “happy” in alternating red and green, with or without added icons or “bling” might make a fabulous christmas card… I had best write this stuff down before I forget it!!! Oh, how I wish I was at home, safe from the rain, with the option of crafting the day away, instead of having to be out here and working! Born to craft, forced to work…
If you do want to get your hands on this fabulous alphabet stamp (which is obviously also brilliant for adding personalisation to cards and projects) then it is part of the Stampin’ Up! annual catalogue which you can see here. There are also various other alphabet sets to choose from, some with numbers and some without.
Have a great weekend!
