Morning! Today I have a lovely project to share with you from this year’s Stampin’ Up! Convention. It is a lovely luminary bx using the Holiday Home stamp set and coordinating framelit set.
And the other side:
And the “front”:
Though I guess that is really the back!
I like the way this project has been put together. The houses have been stamped onto Vellum cardstock, and placed behind the cutouts created with the Holiday Home framelits to give lovely windows through which light can shine. This project would work beautifully when combined with the battery-operated tealights which can be found pretty much everywhere now. They are so cheap, and the flickering ones would give a lovely effect for your Christmas decorations. I would love to make a few of these to go in our porch for Christmas; let’s hope I get a chance to do that!
How about you, does this project appeal to you as a decorative touch for anything, or to go in a specific space? Do you like luminary boxes, or has this given you an idea for another project? Please do share, I’d love to hear from you! If you need anything to make this project and want to give it a go, then don’t forget that you can order 24/7 through the online store!
