As promised, here is a Project Life page which I have completed for my scrapbook. This one uses some SU paper – can you spot it?
Yes, that’s right, it’s a piece of the camera paper from the I Am Me Designer Series Papers. I love the images in this set! I have cut up a whole pack of these papers into 6×4″ and 3×4″ pieces for quick and easy addition to my Project Life pages. They are a great pattern size and topic for my books right now!
This particular page is (in my opinion) exactly what Project Life was designed for – these photos were taken by Gary and the twins when I asked for a photo of my little boy’s “hat hair” before I got his hair cut the next day! They are not “perfect” photos, but they are real life, as it happens, and are very much what the little people are into right now. (I have XXXed out their real names, for privacy.) These photos might not have ever been scrapped if I’d had to do a traditional page using them, but using Project Life it was easy, quick and straightforward. And as the page was about photos, the I Am Me papers were perfect, with their little camera images. In the end, the photos did not quite capture what I was looking for, but they all had fun and I got a great story for my book!
I will share more of my pages with you soon, and I’d love to hear what you think…
