I dream of Projects!

Do you dream? Do you day dream? I do!

I dream of what projects I want to make, what scrapbook pages I will create, what stories I want to tell and what photographs I want to take. I dream about what we will spend our evenings and weekends doing, what our holiday will be like and what it will be like to go away without my twins in November. I dream about what I need to do, and what needs to be prepared for the 4th birthday party we will be holding in December – though it’s a long way off, it will be here before I know it if we don’t plan! (And I have strange dreams at night at the moment – I must be anxious about something, given that most of them involve school or uni in some way, and getting lost in lots of ways!)

Have you heard the Disney phrase, “A dream is a wish your heart makes”? I encourage you to listen to your heart, and dream a little more.

Here’s a card to encourage you:

Project_life_dreamers

It uses the Moments Like These Project Life accessory pack, and the little card is one of the printed sentiment cards included in that pack. The arrows behind it are one of the foiled cards in the same pack.

I will leave you with this thought for today: “A goal is a dream with a plan” – if you want to turn your dreams into reality, you need to work towards them, plan what you need to do to make them true, and set a deadline for each stage. One of my dreams is to have more Stampin’ Up! customers and friends to craft with – so I keep on holding my Open House events, inviting people to come along and craft with me, and sharing my passion at every opportunity. I have just succeeded this morning, in fact, in reaching out to someone who is very excited by the opportunities for memory-keeping and preserving memories which Project Life can offer. So that is fabulous.

Dream, but don’t forget to plan and set goals to turn your dreams into reality!

Have an amazing weekend, and I hope to see you at my Open House event:

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
