Well, this could be exciting.
I got an email this morning from someone who had found me on the Stampin’ Up! website. She’s new to the area and new to cardmaking, and is interested in the products and stamps. I emailed back, and it looks like we will be having a mini party/ workshop/ demonstration tomorrow!
I love coming into contact with new stampers and new crafters. It allows me to watch them grow, create and learn, and I get to share my experience and passions with them! Not to mention the fact that it reminds me just how far I have come in my creative learnings since I started. So many aspects of papercrafts are just second nature to me now, that it can be quite surprising when people aren’t “au fait” with all of the terminology, techniques and “sneaky bits and bobs” that I know about now. But that’s kind of half the fun. Who doesn’t like to learn new things?
So, this weekend will now almost definitely have at least a small aspect of craftiness involved, which will hopefully help me when I’m working on my chores! There is a *huge* pile of boxes of books with my name on it, to be tackled this weekend. The reward will be a bigger space available to me in my craft room, as long as I am able to be as ruthless in clearing out as I was last week…
I *will* get my “perfect” crafty space… eventually!!
