Launch Party Photos – finally

And so finally I have uploaded some photographs from the New Catalogue Launch Party Open House that I held. Unfortunately, though, I didn’t take any photos while people were here, so you will have to make do with the aftermath!

You will see one of the drinks, as it was rather warm that day, and continues to be so. And the new catalogue – kind of hard to have a launch party without them! And a tin full of SU goodies that were used to make the project which I will share with you in my next post. As well as some of the lovely Big Shot dies which I was showing my attendees, a couple of rolls of ribbon which we were oohing over, and on the corner of the table you might just spot my notebook which is full of insights, hints, tips, training notes and a lot of card sketches and ideas! That is definitely coming to Convention with me…

And if you have kids, or took any notice of the table contents at all, you couldn’t help but notice the couple of children’s books added in for good measure! The twins were very good, and slept for most of the time while we were crafting, but at the end of the session on Saturday (which is when these photos were taken), Smudge (our daughter’s online name) woke up and wanted to be sociable. She brought in a couple of books from the living room to share with us, and wanted lots of cuddles. I think Natasha felt very loved that day, as Smudge definitely wanted cuddles with her, and DID NOT want her to leave! Thanks for being so nice to her, Natasha 🙂 (Smidge, our little boy, slept for a bit longer and had to be woken up for lunch!)

I hope that all my attendees had fun, and were pleased with their project. I definitely have a convert in Bee, who came along on Sunday. She had never done this stuff before, but she is totally hooked! It’s so nice to have things to do that are separate from being a wife and mother 🙂

If you want to get involved too, then you know how to contact me!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
