Today I have more dinosaurs for Daddy with another of the Father’s Day cards I made!
I stamped on the front and the flap of this envelope!
Once again, this uses the No Bones About It stamps, I think the green card might have been the now retired Pistachio Pudding, and the dinos are stamped in Crushed Curry (second-generation stamping), Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate (second-generation stamping). All of the bones are Smoky Slate inked each time (i.e. first-generation stamping to get the full depth of colour).
I made a whole bunch of square and rectangular dino prints, and then laid them out on my cards in ways which I thought looked good. As with Tuesday’s card, I was a bit concerned about this design and then decided it was good – but it was nice to have others agree at training on Sunday when I showed them what I have been making recently! I probably ought to have more self-confidence, but it is hard to un-learn behaviour which has been going on for years. However, the more projects I make myself, the better things will be when they get good responses from others.
I even have some dinos left over for use on another project or two!
Have a great weekend and I will be back with some butterflies and some clouds to share next week.
