My favourite Occasions bundles

Today, as promised, I am sharing one of my favourite bundles from the Occasions catalogue.

2016 Occasions Catalogue banner

I adore the feature of the balloons on the cover and imagery for the new catalogue, and these feature heavily in the first of the bundles I am sharing with you:

This bundle is called Balloon Celebration and it comes with the photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating balloon bouquet punch. The punch cuts out two balloons of complimentary sizes which coordinate with the bundles stamps.

There are loads and loads of images which I could share with you showing the versatility and appeal of the new bundles, but for now I will restrict myself to just the Stampin’ Up! project images:

This shows the beautiful subtlety of the balloons. The next image shows how they also work wonderfully for the brighter images when required:

One of these uses the stamps and punches and the two-step detail to its full effect. The second image uses just the punch and the corresponding outline stamp. Here’s the stamp set in detail:

You can actually use this stamp set as three-step stamping, making use of the background balloon stape, then the confetti or pattern stamp, and then finish it off with a crisp outline to tie it all up. You’d be more likely (in my opinion) to add the outline to the bolder balloons, and maintain the subtlety with the pastel colours, but there’s nothing to stop you adding a light grey outline or similar if you so chose.

And the punch is cool – who doesn’t love a balloon?! Or even better, two:

These bundles are amazing quality and have such versatility. I adore the sentiments which come with this set, and they also tie in beautifully with tomorrow’s share – you’ll see why when we get there! There are 14 different bundles in the new offering (more if you were to count wood mount and clear mount options seperately, which I have not here), as well as the wide array of bundles which have carried forwards and are still available from the Autumn/Winter catalogue! And for each of these bundles, you get a 15% discount over buying the items in the bundles seperately. So you really can’t go far wrong, can you?

I’ll be back tomorrow to tempt you with another of my favourite bundles – which I didn’t actually buy as a bundle because I was lucky enough to win the stamp set when I attended OnStage in November! Hurrah!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
