Today I have a non-Stampin’ Up! card to share with Paddington bearing birthday wishes for a work colleague. He’s slightly older than me (as in a few months) and when I spied my Paddington card-making kit the other day, I thought he’d be perfect for a “retro” birthday card.
The card is simplicity itself, but sometimes that’s the best way. Often the people at work seem to prefer the simple cards over the ones which took a lot of time and effort! I certainly find that decoupage cards go down well here.
So just a very quick share from Paddington and myself for today – I hope you like it. My box of goodies arrived yesterday but I didn’t get a chance to try them out as Gary and I went to the theatre last night to see Paul Merton’s Impro Chums which was hilarious. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but it was along the lines of Whose Line is it Anyway, and was very funny. At one point I laughed until I cried, and Gary could barely breathe! Tonight I need to get our stuff ready for the weekend, but I do hope to get some crafting done with the new “toys” very soon…
