Poorly week

Apologies for the lack of posts this week, I have been very poorly and not done *anything* for the past 2 days. I was in bed for most of that time, sleeping, which is very unlike me. I got struck down with this horrid lurgy which is going round – cough, cold, fever, total lack of energy and “jelly-limbs” – horrid! I’m not totally well now, but I feel a lot better than I did!

So this is a very quick post for you today, mainly to share the Weekly Deals for the week, which launched yesterday:

2015 weekly deals wk43-44

There’s also a new video been launched on the Stampin’ Up! YouTube channel!

This video will show you how to use your gift bag punch board to create a flap for the top of your home-made gift bag to close it. How cute is that? If you have the gift bag board you are going to want to try this, and if you don’t have it, why not treat youself and order it today? My customer order arrived yesterday, so I will soon be dishing that out to the happy recipients and encouraging them to share their creations with me! I got a couple of bits in that box, including the incredibly cute Reindeer paperclips. Another demonstrator friend, Val, at Stamping with Val showed a great card idea using these cute paperclips recently on her facebook page and her blog, so I have plans to make some of these to add to my “stash” to send and sell! If you want some too, then you know what to do…!

I hope that no-one else in our house gets poorly, as we have quite a lot on this weekend including a Stampin’ Twinklets training day which I am really looking forwards to. Gary has been feeling a bit under the weather, mainly coughing, but I’m hoping he’ll be the same as my little bear and *just* get away with the cough. Still not nice, but much better than 2 days in bed! And my “baby” girl is coughing like she’s been smoking 40-a-day (obviously, she hasn’t!!) so hopefully she won’t get worse either. We’re planning a nice family day out tomorrow with lots of fresh air, so here’s hoping that helps.

Here’s to a healthy and happy weekend for all, and a better week next week!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
