Project Life Joy

Apologies for the abudence of short posts this week, it has not been a great week for time to do much at all, and this blog has been one of the things to suffer. But my poorly girl seems to be on the mend now, hopefully, so things ought to ease up again – I hope!

For today I have a card which epitomises the approach we have had to take this week – all about finding joy in the ordinary:

The lovely gold-foiled joy card has come from the Moments Like These Project Life accessory kit, and makes a fabulous feature panel on a greetings card. As I said previously, these cards are fabulous for your Project Life albums and documenting the joy of everyday life, and the little things – but they are also fabulous focal points for outside-the-book projects. And one accessory pack gives you plenty of cards to play with, especially the little 2×2″ cards.

I also personally have some extra Project Life joy this week, which I will be able to share with you soon enough – I have placed my pre-order for the Project Life goodies in the new Seasonal catalogue which comes to you from September! I cannot wait for my exciting box of goodies to turn up (even though it’s not even been sent yet!) and there are lots of other SU Demonstrators also anxiously awaiting theirs! Some of them are already reporting an expected delivery date for tomorrow, which is fabulous considering we could only order from late Monday night. Demo Support and the packing crew are the best! (I hope mine is soon on the “sent” list.)

In the meantime I have to get some of my squillion recent photos edited and uploaded to Snapfish so I can get those on order to create some more pages for my Project Life album, to justify the purchase of more PL product! I also need to get my “Day in the Life” documented from May, and it’d be nice to get that done before Week in the Life starts on the 17th of this month…

Happy, happy, joy, joy.

Spend some time this weekend doing what brings you joy. I have plans if the weather is good to take the family to a Pick Your Own farm locally and spend some time making and recording some fabulous memories. Plus getting fresh fruit and fresh air is an added bonus!

Fun times. Go and find your joy today and every day.

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
