Rapid Recovery

Another card using a stamp from the Patterned Occasions SaleABration set today:

recover.jpg

This is an even simpler card than yesterday, which I wasn’t sure was possible! It uses the Full Heart Extra-Large cut multiple times from pink cardstock. One of the hearts is accentuated with the crystal effects liquid glaze, to make it stand out from the others. A little piece of dotty scalloped ribbon and some white Bakers twine give a good grounding for the stamped sentiment. The sentiment itself was done using the markers to allow the image to be coloured differently to the wording. The corners of the card shapes were rounded to give a softer feel to the card.

Three Small Hearts embellished with Basic Rhinestones finish the design off nicely. Aside from the drying time for the glaze, this is a very quick card to make, so ideal for when you need to rustle something up in a hurry. If you needed to you could always omit the glaze, or use dazzling diamonds instead!

(Thanks for the design, Carrie.)

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
