So we are back to Christmas cards for today. This one uses some products specifically designed for the Big Shot – the two tags die, and the Scentsational season bundle from the Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue. The scentsational bundle comes with the stamp set and the coordinating framelits to cut them out. It is like the coordinating stamp and punch sets, but on the next level! There are a number of these coordinating sets in the catalogues, to suit all sorts of tastes.
Don’t forget that you can also get scented embossing powders, to subtly scent your stamped images! This can be used for both wintery cards, and summer ones. The main catalogue has cherry, vanilla or melon scented powders, which are great for your summer cards with fruit and ice lollies! When you use the power combination of scented podwers, stamps and framelits, it really boosts your cards to the next level. People will be highly impressed, and it was hardly any more effort to create than just a “plain” stamped image. (Less effort if you had to cut out the image by hand!)
Then there is also the scalloped circle punch and one of the circle punches to mount the sentiment, and a bit of colour spritzing to add a little interest on the sentiment panel. Quick, easy, and definitely reproducible.
So this is a good card to use for one of your monthly designs if you are taking on the challenge to be ready for Christmas early this year. Simple, yet highly effective.
