How exciting is this?! Stampin’ Up! are soon to be offering a range of Project Life items, all in exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours, and no doubt exclusive designs, too. Here’s the deal from Head office:
“We are so so so excited to let you know we’ve partnered with the amazing Becky Higgins to bring you the real deal—authentic Project Life products, now in exclusive Stampin’ Up! colours and designs. If you’ve somehow missed the Project Life craze and are wondering what it’s all about, we’ll fill you in: it’s a super simple, totally affordable way to get your photos into albums: you just slip your photos into Photo Pocket Pages and add designed cards. It’s a back-to-basics approach to documenting your life. In a nutshell, it’s all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.”
Here’s a great short video showing and telling a little bit more:
Now, those of you who have been paying attention to my posts in the last week will have noticed this:
“And I have a new excitement in my life – an easy way of scrapbooking!” And that was last week. Well, guess what, I just started using Project Life items last week! And this week Stampin’ Up! announce they will be making items for me to use? Genius! I obviously gave in at just the right time 🙂 (I have wanted this kit for a good couple of years or more, but couldn’t justify it til Hobbycraft had an offer on and I could resist no more.) In the past week since buying the kit I have made 5 scrapbook pages! That’s how easy and quick it is. I was really struggling with doing 12×12″ pages because it is quite a large expanse for me to fill, but doing this is easier, not least because the basic structure of the page is already done for you. (And if you are a die-hard 12×12″ scrapper, there are bits available for that, too.)
So if you have been wondering about scrapbooking but thinking (like me) that 12×12″ paper is a lot to fill, then stay tuned and I will show you some of my pages soon, and share the news from Stampin’ Up! as I know about it.
(Did you notice? Three posts from me today! You get nothing for a while, then three in a day!! Please don’t get used to this! I will try to maintain my 3 posts a week, plus the weekly deals throughout April, and others when I can.)
So go ahead and start looking at your photographs in a new light, ready to get scrapping them and writing your stories for both later generations and also yourself and your loved ones now. I am loving recording memories of how the twins are now, as we know they won’t be like this for long, we will soon be in a new phase and memories last much better when they are recorded well. And the best way to do it is to make it easy!
