Well, Friday was a great day!
I spent it in Hounslow, right on the edge of Heathrow Airport, with a whole group of other Stampin’ Up demonstrators. It was a regional training day, and we learned lots about the new product range for the new mini catalogues, got to play with the new things, and got lots of project and business ideas. Kim and Natalie did demonstrations as to how to use the “Business Basics” stamp set, and we all discussed ideas of how to boost your business and get the word out there.
We did *two* make and takes (we’d usually only do one at a training day), both using the brand new products, and were given information on lots of new SU initiatives for 2011. Including a birthday offer for all demonstrators when their birthday month comes around! Additional discount on the first item on a demonstrator order can’t be bad, can it?!
Watch out for the projects and pictures of the examples appearing here from early April – it’s all a secret until the new Mini catalogue launches on 1/4/11!
I also made hubby a birthday card this weekend, but again it uses the new products, so I’ll share that when I can, too.
And I’ve signed up for Convention!!! Did that first thing yesterday morning, and registration only opened yesterday morning… do we think I really want to go?! This year it’s at Disneyland Paris, which is the icing on the cake. And the cherry on top is that my supporting Demo (my lovely husband) even wants to come as well. Speaking to Demo Support, supporting demos will be able to register, so I’ll get his name down when that’s available to book, and hopefully we will have a lovely weekend away together. He’s planning to get an iPad, so he said he can always play with that if it gets too much for him!! ;oP
