Teeny Tiny “Boo” Baby

Here’s a card I made using punch art and the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set:

boo_baby

Apologies that the picture is slightly fuzzy, I’m not sure what happened there!

The pram is made from circles, punched out using the wonderful Stampin’ Up! circle punches in differing sizes – I will have to look up or measure the sizes of the circles and update the resources when I get a chance. The cards themselves are 3″ square, so that gives you an idea of scale. The base of the pram is half of a So Saffron cardstock circle, with the hood being a quarter of a circle of Designer Series Papers in the same colour. As this was made a little while ago, it uses the old patterns of the colour family paper stacks but the new ones are just as pretty. The baby’s head is Very Vanilla cut with a smaller circle punch – I think this was the 3/4″ or 1″ version. I drew little eyes on them with a Stampin’ Write marker pen and added a curl of hair. The wheels are a 1/2″ circle each centred with a metallic brad.

As you can see from the “twinkle” in the corner, the image was backed onto Shimmer Cardstock and then a base card of Crumb Cake. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and is stamped in Basic Gray. I made these as swaps for an event, and was pleased to be able to hand them out. I had a few left over at the end, so thought I would share it with you here 🙂

I need to be making some more swaps soon, as I have a Stampin’ Up! training event in Telford in mid-May so I’d best get my thinking cap on for some designs which are not too painful to bulk-make! Do let me know if you have any inspiration on that front!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
