Telford swaps – bookmarks or tags?

So I know they are a little late, but here are my Telford swaps for the Stampin’ Up! regional event:

And here’s just the one so you can actually see it!

I labelled the back of each swap with details of my contact details and the “ingredients” for making them:

I’d planned them as tags, but due to the design (which I managed to do all by myself, without browsing Pinterest or anything!) they are pretty big. One swapper commented that my swap was perfect because she had a book to pop it into, so it looked like a good bookmark to her! So what would you use it for? A good-sized tag with lots of room for a message, or a funky bookmark?

The silver ribbons were really difficult to keep under control, so if I made these again I’d either use a different ribbon or at least tie them differently!

Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures to share, but the twins did all but about 2 of my swaps for me! They had a lovely time asking everyone in sight if they would swap with them. If you want the longer version of that, check out my Monday post after the weekend!

As the idea behind swapping is to use only current products, I made sure that I didn’t use anything that isn’t carrying forward to the new catalogue – which gives you some clues as to what will be available from the Spring/ Summer seasonal after June 2nd! …Boy, I love those balloons!

Have a fab day!

About Katie

Katie has been crafting for most of her life, but has been an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator since April 2010. Her favourite techniques are rubber stamping, heat embossing and 3D decoupage, mainly applied in card making, but she's also an avid memory keeper! She loves the pocket scrapbooking style as it is quick and easy, and makes memory keeping much more achievable for her than the "traditional" option. She would love to share this with you if you are intrigued!
